Welcome to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign! As you prepare for arrival, please review this page and keep the following important dates in mind.
International Student and Scholar Services collaborates with New Student and Family Experiences to host the International Undergraduate Student Orientation in August. This orientation aims to welcome new undergraduate international students; assist students with acclimation to campus life and culture; and provide students an opportunity to meet other international and domestic students.
Orientation Format & Topics
Fall 2024 undergraduate orientation will take place on August 20 through 21, 2024. All programs are designed specifically for new incoming undergraduate international students, unless otherwise stated. This orientation will take place in person.
During the sessions, we will welcome speakers from across campus to share information about important topics to help you succeed at the university. For the best experience, plan on attending all orientation events.
