Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Closed daily from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
Wednesdays, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. No appointments or calls will be taken after noon on Wednesdays.
Issues Outside of Office Hours
- For immigration issues outside of office hours, email isss@illinois.edu and we will follow up with you as soon as possible during business hours.
- For issues at Customs and Border Patrol when trying to enter the United States, contact the Emergency Dean at 217-649-4129.
- If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
- For non-medical emergencies or need to be connected with SafeWalks and SafeRides, please call UIPD at 217-333-1216. You can also call the Crisis Line at 217-359-4141 or call Dial-A-Nurse 217-333-2700.
If a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent requests access to non-public areas of university property, asks questions, or seeks personally identifiable information or non-public records from university personnel, immediately refer the agent to the University of Illinois Police Department and call the UIPD non-emergency number at 217-333-1216 to notify them of the agent’s presence.
If a federal immigration officer (not ICE) contacts you for an audit, please visit Site Visits by Immigration Officials for guidance.
