ISSS helps campus departments obtain such statuses as J-1, H-1, TN, and O-1 for international faculty, staff, and scholars. ISSS also facilitates green card sponsorship for permanent, full-time employees. We provide orientation for our international faculty, staff and scholars, and assist them throughout their time at the U of I with issues relating to their immigration status such as travel and extensions.
