Taiwanese Student Association Sports Day 2018

TSA will be hosting the annual Sports Day where Taiwanese students (and all international students) not only from UIUC but also from Wisconsin, Michigan, Northwestern and Chicago are invited to participate in a day of sportsmanship and bonding. Students will have the opportunity to learn and play basketball, volleyball, badminton and softball, and play in friendly competitions all day. Winning teams will earn a prize in each sport

international week 2018

International Week 2018 occurs April 1-7th.  Through numerous educational, cultural, and recreational events co-hosted by student groups, centers, colleges, units, and local partners, International Week aims to raise awareness about the breadth of international education, activities, and resources available in our community.

Travel Around the World (TATW) is an interactive experience that promotes cross-cultural understanding and engagement. Each "traveler" that enters the event will receive an Illinois travel ticket on which they can collect stamps as they navigate cultural destination booths designed by University of Illinois students from across the globe. "Travelers" who collect at least five stamps will receive a free t-shirt and a chance to enter our raffle drawing!

Bangladeshi night 2018

Bangladeshi Night is to allow the UIUC community get familiarized with Bangladeshi culture. This year our Bangladeshi Night 2018 will be held on Sunday, 22nd April 2018. The BSA at UIUC would like to host this cultural program at the Illini Union to promote our cultural heritage, foster communications and build relationship with fellow Bangladeshi as well as the international student and scholar community on campus. There will be dance and music performances, arts and crafts display, trivia and amusement activities like traditional Bangladeshi games etc. This will be a free to all event.

sPRINGFIELD dISCOVERIES

Here for the summer? Join ISSS on a trip to Springfield! We will spend the morning touring the Capitol Building, learning about state history and government, and meeting our state senator, Scott Bennett. After lunch, we'll travel back through time, visiting the home and museum of our 16th president, Abraham Lincoln! Students and scholars are welcome.
