Winter Survival Guide

ARC “Wellness Center”  |  201 East Peabody Drive, Champaign
November 3, 6-8 pm

Nervous about rumors of snow storms from your friends? Not sure what it means when it is “sleeting”? Concerned about where you can buy appropriate winter clothes? This workshop, a joint effort between ISSS and McKinley Heath Center, will gear you up for the upcoming drop in temperatures. Illinois winters are cold, and it is important to be well prepared to stay healthy and safe. To get you the information you need, this fun workshop will discuss all sorts of winter information: how to dress, driving information, health and nutritional information, where to get your winter clothes, and other “essentials” to help you through the winter. Spouses and children are welcome to attend!

No need to sign up: just show up promptly at 6pm for this exciting event. Once you are inside the ARC follow signs to the “Wellness Center”. And, if that is not enough incentive, we will even have some winter snacks!  See you there!
